Hammock and trees

On a remotest beach in South Pacific

rejuvenating it was between the coconut trees

where I laid down along the shore on a hammock

seizing every opportunity to get lost in the breeze

Life was pretty simple in the far-flung parts of the world

Where the only company was the hammock and a book

that were waiting to narrate a story untold..

I vacationed there away from the material hullabaloo

where there were none around a few miles

Heavenly were the oceanic regions of Tuvalu

that welcomed me to adapt to its pacifying lifestyle

While I write this poem I could clearly imagine

and I had made the best use of my exquisite lucid dream

Which gives me a chance to project myself anywhere

especially during the times of absolute despair..
